Directions

1. When the game begins, the blank lines of the puzzle appear. The underline symbol ( "_" ) indicates where a letter belongs. To guess the word, enter your guess in the "Test Word" box and then click the "Jots" button. The letters in your guess that match the puzzle word will appear in their proper place or places on the puzzle line.
2. If none of the letters in your guess match the puzzle word, "_ _ _ _ _" will appear below.
3. If you make a mistake, you cannot correct your guess once the "Jots" button is clicked.
4. When the puzzle has been solved, you can restart the game by clicking "Start again".
5. If you think you can solve the puzzle, enter your solution in the "Test Word" box. Do not add extra spaces. Then click the "Jots" button. If you incorrectly solve the puzzle, you may continue to guess the puzzle word.
6. To see the correct answer, click "Answer"
7. An Eliminating Alphabet is at the bottom of the page.
If you have ruled a letter in, click in the Yes box under the letter, a check will appear.
If you have ruled a letter out, click in the No box under the letter, a check will appear.
To remove the check mark, click the box again.
8. Score: When the puzzle is solved, you will see "Correct Score ="
